Week 5 - WebQuest

I believe that the concept of the WebQuest is to be able to teach students in a way that they could be interested in and learning from. As my partner and I were searching the topics other teachers have done we came upon the topic "Dinosaurs".
When we viewed the WebQuest we heard a song that I loved and we chose it as our topic. My partner and I wanted to teach the students about dinosaurs from the Cretaceous Period.
The WebQuest will improve our students learning by teaching them about dinosaurs that lived before our time.
The most important lesson that I learned from this activity is teamwork.
At first I didn't like this software because it confused me, but now I like the software because I feel comfortable using it.
The thing that I would change for a future project would be my topic. I think that I'd like to do something different.

Week 4 - My day 2

Today we went on blogger.com and made our own blog sites. It was hard to make at first but then as I started to understand how to make it it became very easy.

This is helpful to me because it'll be a good way to communicate with my future students and their parents. I could post assignments online and they could see what they missed if they didn't make it to class.
Other assignments that I could use with this site would be to have my students blog about their day and how their doing in school.

I would rate this site an 8 because it's still confusing for me to use but it really is a good site.

Week 2 - My day 1

In today's class we went on worlde.com and made a layout with our names and descriptions that our classmates wrote for us. We had to tape paper behind our backs and go around the room to have our classmates write one word that described us. Then on the site we input our name 20 times and then all the words after that. The website formulated the words and how big or small it'll be. The size would depend on how many similar words there were.

It was very helpful to me as a future teacher because I could use this exact thing in my own classroom.
Other assignment's that I would use this site for is descriptions about books and others.
I would rate this site with a 10 because it was very fun and entertaining. I loved how easy it was to use and how much fun I had making my own.
We also went on buble.us and made our own flow chart about our future class and or school. We discussed how it would be incorporated with technology.

That was helpful to me because it showed me that I could make my own flow charts very easy.

Other assignments that I would use this for would be when I give a group assignment and make it into a competition.

I would rate this site a 10 because it was very fun and interesting.
